Project idea

In our project we tried to save memory after catastrophe and grow something new from remains. So we took the drawing of explosion waves and created sand hills. It’s look like circles on water after stone was tossed. The great scale hides explosion drawing from park visitors. From human height, it is only labyrinth with interesting route. However, if you upstairs to silos roof, you can see sandy circles in stone sea whole. Nothing disappears. The Earth keeps human history.

Project description

Former warehouses were gifted new life. In perimeters of destroys buildings we designed new functions, such as hotel, restaurant, sport square, swimming pool, yacht club, museum, greenhouses and gardens. Although every building "grows" from similar rectangular in plane, every object has individual image. The center of composition coincides with epicenter of explosion. The shape of coast is saved: the waterside has torn edge. The silos ruins towers up under water as memorial.
