The port of Beirut, the largest port in Lebanon, suffered a major blow to the Lebanese economy and severely affected people's lives after the 2020 explosion that shut down the port and damaged various infrastructures. The project aims to improve the infrastructure and breathe new life into the port, starting from its functional restoration.
The project solutions include restoration of port functions, traffic improvement, green infrastructure provision and housing&employment provision within the port area.
