Project idea

I think, its an environment friendly High-rise project considering it as a "Vertical Green Screening". As it is located in Sylhet city, Bangladesh; so it is an iconic tower for Sylhet city representing Sylhet. A High-rise project may be aesthetic-al and functional. From aesthetic-al point if i consider it as a solid box, it creates visual discomfort. However, green screening provides mental smoothing and highlight the building aesthetically. From functional point of view, if I solve it without green and use glass surface, it creates glare and glare has a negative impact on occupants causing a sensation of annoyance and causes environment pollution.

I have used a system called hydroponic to make the building sustainable for environment which facilitates auto-recycling process. The vertical greens are fixed with vase applying in vertical truss.

Heat is simultaneously increased in a High-rise building towards uphill. For this reason i applied this hydroponic system. This system is maintained by using pipe within the trusses and water comes through this pipe to vase as well as a switch system is also used to recycle the water. Greens are protected by changing water once per month.

I have used recyclable plastic bottle to reduce the urban waste which will create the environment public friendly. The most important cause of using plastic bottles is that these are not rotten in the soil.

Project description

It is a of 34th storied building for studio project, where first four floor is podium and the rest is tower. Maximum ground coverage 50% and pure or soak able Green 27%.

Technical information

In my High-rise, I considered composite structure. In below ground level, I used RCC wall and composite column. In the ground level, brick wall is made and composite column is given. All the vertical truss are made by RCC and steel. Inner surface of the truss are glasses. All the slabs are built by RCC and steel structure.
