Due Acque House.
The idea of the project arises from the pre-existence on the site. The tropical "canal" architecture and the use of peculiarities given in the area. For years the Canal Zone has been the object of different architectural styles, one of the most outstanding is that applied by the Americans. The project seeks more than anything to preserve the concept of the garden city implemented during the 90s and the tropical architecture of the site.
Due.
The site offers many benefits. Cross ventilation is one of the most outstanding factors of the project, its orientation and setting seek to offer the user (families) to feel comfortable. Due Acque ..., two modules, two directions, east - west, that's what the implemented solution is about. The project puts aside the casual invasive architecture and focuses on developing a home, simple, but with the necessary aspects for an ideal, tropical home.

A tour of the site was made as a starting point to understand the complexity of the project.

Followed by an analysis of the site from an aerial point, to understand the surroundings of the place and its bioclimatic benefits.

Several proposals were made, with different concepts. The winner is two modules, one at level 01 and the other at level 02. Allowing to separate each zone.

The furniture and characteristic aspects of the architecture of the area are chosen and thus, avoid creating an invasive project to the place, maintaining the concept of the garden city.

Finally, the idea of setting the scene with native trees and flowers of the place is implemented in a schematic way.
