Project idea

The new spatial organization of the university courtyard allows you to create unique spaces not only for students, but also for the city.

Scientists and students are engaged in scientific activities in cylindrical glass studios. Residents of the city can walk along the street formed between the educational spaces. Exhibitions and master classes are also held there.
The Horizon Park is the main public space of the university campus. Here students relax and communicate, regardless of which faculty they study at. A vertical park is a unique way to combine relaxation and reflection.

Project description

A new Inner Street has been opened for citizens. You can walk between the studios and watch the work inside. This solution facilitates the exchange of information between the city and the university.

From the level of the horizontal park, you can observe the area and the activity of city streets. Thus, public space creates strong visual connections with urban points of attraction.

Green crossings between the buildings improve its communication system. Now employees and students can move more freely between faculties, what contributes to the strengthening of inter-disciplinary connections.

Park H(orizontal) also organises connections between roofs of the existing STU campus. this solution provides more freedom for movement and relaxation.

Technical information

The project proposal consists of the organization of such elements as 1) a Tower 2) Studios 3) a park H(orizontal) 4) a park V(ertical).
All the required areas and safety rules are kept.
