Project idea

The main idea of the project was to create a building that would make the most of the daylight and connect residents - for this purpose, we designed green terrace recesses between the apartments.

Project description

Project is located in polish city Gliwice. The main assumption of the project is divided into two horizontal parts. The first two floors are quiet, STATIC - fully glazed spaces open to everyone. The two top storeys represent DYNAMIC. Bay windows and balconies have different angles, which provide more light on the upper floors. Inside the building, winter gardens and green mini parks are planned for the interiors of flats, common areas and corridors. This is the main idea of the project, which additionally illuminates the space with daylight and integrates the residents.

Technical information

The project was designed in a reinforced concrete structure. The main element of the facade are Warneton bricks by Wienerberger. Three-layer walls finished with a durable and frost-resistant material guarantee that the facade will be used for a long time and will not have to be replaced. The sand-red color fits perfectly into the design idea. The use of brick introduces the atmosphere of Silesia and is a perfect complement to cool glass windows.
