Creativity center with a theatrical bias for the social adaptation of people with disabilities

Project idea

The diploma project was developed on the basis of the appeal and technical assignment of the director of the inclusive theater studio "Lestnitsa" Elena Gaipova Anatolyevna.

At the moment, there is no single creative center in Krasnodar, and the scattered organizations and buildings in which they are located do not meet the needs of people with disabilities and do not correspond to modern architectural and construction and social norms.

In the course of work on the graduation project, a comprehensive architectural and planning solution was developed that ensures the activities in the building and on the territory of the center for both people with disabilities and all other visitors and employees.

In the case of the implementation of this project, a huge number of children and adults with disabilities and developmental features will have the opportunity to interact with society, creative growth, employment and leisure activities.

Project description

In Krasnodar, since 2016, there has been an Inclusive Theater Studio "Lestnitsa" - an organization engaged in the creative development and social adaptation of people with disabilities. At the moment, the studio does not have its own building and conducts classes, renting a room on the fourth floor in a building without an elevator on the territory of the ZIP in the city of Krasnodar. The studio conducts regular classes and rehearsals, shows performances, including within the framework of
touring.

Also in 2019, an inclusive workshop for young people with mental disabilities was opened in Krasnodar. There are two directions in the workshop: sewing and ceramics. Just like the Staircase studio, the studio does not have its own premises.

The studio trains people of all ages with all kinds of disabilities, as well as without them. The number of students is constantly growing, and the studio needs a separate building that takes into account the peculiarities of users and the organization of creative and educational processes. With the appearance of its own building, the Inclusive Theater Studio "Ladder" plans to expand the range of activities. Workshops and creative studios will be opened. For the full-fledged functioning of the Creativity Center, it is necessary to provide for a cafe, lecture halls and a media library.
