Project idea

M E M O R I A D E S C R I P T I VA: El centro de innovación STU, se diseño con el fin de dar una solución especifica y sostenida al programa de necesidades requerido. El desafío de encontrar la escala del edificio dentro del terreno rodeado por edificaciones circundantes, llevo a concentrar la composición volumétrica propuesta enlazando a los auditorios actuales permitiendo refuncionalizar una nueva fachada y conexión al interior de dicho conjunto.

DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY: The STU innovation center was designed in order to provide a specific and sustained solution to the required program of needs.
The challenge of finding the scale of the building within the land surrounded by surrounding buildings, led to the concentration of the proposed volumetric composition linking the current auditoriums allowing to re-functionalize a new facade and connection to the interior of said set.

CONNECT: Principal idea del proyecto fue generar una conexión entre la ciudad y el patio de la universidad, generando una re-funcionalización y una permeabilidad del mismo, permitiendo abrirse al exterior.

CONNECT: The main idea of ​​the project was to generate a connection between the city and the university courtyard, generating a re-functionalization of it and a permeability, allowing it to open to the outside.

Construcción: 1-Estructura reticulado metálico . 2-Entrepiso metálico tecnología en seco . 3-Cerramiento de aluminio y vidrio con diversos sistemas de aperturas según su función (acondicionamiento térmico) . 4-Piel de chapa perforada (Acero Corten) . 5-Cubierta y Pérgola Metálica .
