Project idea
Our idea was to create set of building, which fit into surrounding nature and finish it, instead of sticking out. The site already was a hotel with swimming pool once, but old buildings are half destroyed today and water tank is overgrown. Main material was selected to be wood, to balance out woods destroyed by bark beetle.
Project description
Our hotel is based on foundations of old buildings, pool has same dimensions as the present one and swimming pool entrance is on the same place.
Technical information
All buildings are mainly wooden-structures. Bearing constructions are mostly out of CLT and LVL panels. Roofs are designed to be green/grassed.
