Project idea

The aim of the project was to create a place where students and university staff would enjoy spending time surrounded by interesting architecture. The main idea was to relate the semi-circular shape to the park, which is located near the campus. We have designed an amphitheatre, a new lab building, a volleyball court, rest areas, and modern glass walkways at height.

Project description

When creating the project, we wanted to connect the existing buildings in an interesting way so as to enable more efficient communication. Glass passages designed a few metres above ground level are such an element. The newly created building of the laboratory has glass façades, thanks to which everything is connected with each other compositionally. In addition, we designed an amphitheatre, which is partially sunk in the ground, while the roof provides a panoramic terrace. On the campus there is also a volleyball court, steps where you can take a rest, and greenery.

Technical information

We present to you a technically advanced project. At the same time we wanted to show our idea in a delicate, pleasant to the eye and easy to read way. From the left you will find analyses of the development site and its surroundings. Then we drew conclusions from them and created an ideogram in which we describe our main ideas. In the middle of the boards is the urban concept with the development of our ideas. Above, there are also cross-sections, projections of new buildings. The whole is surrounded by our visualisations, which give you a schematic view of our vision.
