The project consists of a center of revaluation for the Natural Bridge of Kfardebian in Lebanon. Aiming to create a micro-village atmosphere that will encourage living in community, my system then consists of a superposition of frames in order to result in a flexible device where nature dominates the architecture.
The different meshes or stratifications are the object of a coherence between the river (blue frame) which guides the organization of the project, the greenery (green frame) which is constantly present, and the full modules (functions of the project and outdoor facilities). These elements are pixelated in plan, and progress either in crescendo or in decrescendo, taking as point of departure and focus the natural bridge. Moreover, in order to mark the uniqueness of the museum trail, the latter takes the theme of "The Creation of the World" and highlights, through different sequences, this unique phenomenon, by stimulating the senses of visitors while linking everything to the story of Kfardebian and Faqra.
The use of modular architecture is justified on the one hand by the organization of the adjoining, and on the other hand by its durable, minimalist quality and easily integrated into the slope. The adopted modules will come from a common Cartesian base, which will undergo subtractions or additions depending on their identities and the functions they house.
The outdoor installations will be the result of a twinning between the modular concept and the water. The result will be a multitude of outdoor spaces and unique follies.
Slow circulation is established using a ramp, running along the entire project, connecting the functions to each other and constituting a directional architectural walk simultaneously to the natural bridge and the river. Thanks to this, importance is given to visitors with reduced capacity. Rapid circulation and covered by canopies are set up in parallel to ensure the proper functioning of the project.
