Alps Spiritual Retreat

Project idea

The site of the building is located in the Alps. A spa and wellness center is being planned here. The retreat center is required to provide tourists with hot springs, housing, meals, and sports functions. At the same time, the new retreat center requires to provide visitors with an environment that blends in with nature and relaxes the body and mind.

Project description

The main body of the building is designed as a circle. Such a shape can make full use of the natural landscape around the site and provide indoor users with different perspectives to appreciate the natural scenery. The building also uses large-scale windows in guest rooms and public space areas to bring natural scenery and sunlight into the building to the greatest extent.

Technical information

The main body of the building uses stone as the building material, these stones are from local marble. The use of local materials is not only to save construction costs and reduce carbon emissions, at the same time, these stones also carry the local architectural history and culture.
