The theme of the project is based on massive and violent Exodus of over 800,000 Kosovars during the period 1998-1999.
The chosen location respectively Prekazi, was chosen because of the history and facts that this location carries within itself which are the greatest evidence of what happened during the conflict between the two countries.
This project tries to create a narrative for the new generations of what the situation was like at that time and what they experienced their ancestors.
The exodus of Kosovars was broadcast on different ways, some with overcrowded transport vehicles with citizen, and some on foot.
Citizens were forced to walk away miles across, inside the beams where it passes the train, and no one was allowed to get out from these lines till it gets out of the border of Kosovo.
The return from Odessa was not easy at all because the houses were burned, and life had to start again from the first.
We have tried to convey these difficulties as a narrative that can not be avoided without experiencing it, it has been created as a museum path so that you can have the feeling of the beginning of the war, the feelings of the people during the exodus, as well as the return to their burned houses.
The distribution and transfer of our parts is subject to the representation of our inner state at the moment we see the picture of Exodus and the war itself.
The lines seek to define and explain our feelings, which we will then use to interfere with our concept of the museum.
The lines explain the anxiety, sadness, fear, anger, hope, misery and finally peace, in general the feelings that Kosovars had during the exodus.
