Project idea

The main goal for this project was to create conceptual design of the STU campus courtyard and to create a new solution for the innovation center and laboratory in Bratislava.
The architectural concept is based on the ambition of creating an exceptional urban lot. It showcases a vast public area in the center of the campus which reinforces urban structures and links existing facilities.

Project description

The Idea was to keep the existing building - laboratory which in our opinion had the potential to host the program that the university needs,located in the heart of the campus which is sufficiently sunny during the day, gave us the idea with a little intervention the laboratory coud be everything that the students need.

Technical information

Wanting to use the sun,we add three cascading platforms having different function,thus different program. However, this does not affect the circulation, on the contrary, we increase it by adding more types of vertical communications that do not restrict the user of the space to go from point A to point B.
