Integration of the Heritage with a Temporary Structure for Exhibition Space

Project description

Revitalization of the zone of two churches in Famagusta, Cyprus
My concept formed from the ways&paths. I connected historical center now we can say it is actual center for popular area. And my zone was dead that's why I used connected road to my zone and 2 others way which are connected with enterance of walled city and Othello Castle (major point in walled city).

My pavilion form emergend. I tried to combine contemporary vision and historical impact as a function and form.

Technical information

As a technical information Firstly my strategies was to give more value and make more alive and connected that area by bringing activities.
to develop a pavilion for the use private or public,
to create a connection road with historical center ( Lala Mustafa Paşa Mosque, Namık Kemal Square) to Armenian Church that will make a new social interaction.

As a material I wanted to use Flexible materials such as Fabric covers steell framed profiles. More transparent structures with the materials..
