Project idea

The project is located in Szczecin, in Łasztownia, on the boulevards. Our main goal was to make the area more attractive in terms of tourism and recreation, while not dominating by the form over the other buildings surrounding our project.

Project description

Meeting our goals, we designed a building that looks light, almost levitating, and is held together by large stairs that are open 24/7 so that everyone can spend their time on the green roof at night, even watching the stars. During the day, you can admire some of Szczecin's monuments, such as Wały Chrobrego, the Church of St. Jakub, the Customs Office and the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle. Inside, the whole interior is open, giving the impression of hanging on one pillar on the side, where the reception is, and the Glass Tube on the other, which is filled and wrapped in greenery, which we can enter to feel in contact with nature. Despite its openness, the center is perfectly arranged in terms of use, where, depending on whether we want to relax over a coffee, work or hold a business meeting - people who came here for a different function should not come into unwanted contact with us. All this makes the design a perfect combination of many functions at once, while maintaining lightness and delicacy.

Technical information
