Project idea

Volumetric study for an office complex based on the concept of movement and connectivity, using design and composition principles.
The purpose of this project is to switch from the typical squared type office to a more dynamic and light environment for office workers.

Project description

Project that involves the interaction between 5 different volumes that function as components for an office complex.

As of the design principles en elements, the project works along 3 curved lines that start from the center of the complex, which is also a point of hierarchy due to the change from curved to straight and its increase in height.

The movement is present in the project's radial composition that can be identified specially when viewed from the top. Connectivity is a crucial part of the project; each building is connected to the others either by space or direct connection, which gives the possibility of having different areas of an office, or different companies, separated by building, but still have a sense of connectivity and belonging.

The complex has facades that function as large openings that allow a better use of natural light, which is important for working environment.
