Conecptual idea

When we are going for a long / short journey, we usually use the word " Just Stop For A Tea". When we go anyone's house, they always ask "Have cup of tea"...That shows us "The Tea" is a sign for a break or stop. I inspired from that situations and wanted to get that idea to this "T Launge" container cafe. We can use the qualities of a tea to develop this design concept.

Design breif

Tea Lounge is a tea related business. Qualities of the tea such as colour theme, leser cut have been taken to the designed. That means, it is a panel which consits the shape of the tea leaf.

Thematic idea

The t-Lounge is an upscale, elegant place designed around the enjoyment and appreciation of fine tea; complemented by light snacks and tea-inspired food and beverages. The t-Lounge by Dilmah is unique in that our emphasis on tea is founded on our passionate commitment to tea as tea growers and a family business; established and headed by the world’s most experienced tea maker; the first tea grower to offer his tea direct to tea drinkers around the world.[21:37, The t-Lounge by Dilmah offers the most comprehensive and authentic tea experience, which is especially relevant to the millennial generation which is leading a renaissance in tea--centered on the authenticity of tea and teas that are genuinely different. Dilmah as a tea grower is uniquely able to deliver on that promise whilst maintaining the integrity, ethics and authenticity of the experience and every element within it. Fine tea has the ability to dignify food in a way that no other beverage can. Functionally, tea is an elegant accompaniment to food for its ability to cleanse the palate of fats, sweetness and prepare the taste buds to appreciate the next dish. Good food, good tea, delicious individually but together having the potential to produce a magical sensation on the palate.

About the location

This restaurant will be Located in front of Kottawa , Makumbura bus stand . this area is very busy in office hour and school time. there are some popular

restaurant such as Pizza Hut , Mango Mango Est around this area . but there is no any short food cafés around this area . There is a opportunity that this side of
the road as enough parking spaces. According to the researches restaurant in this area are very busy after 4pm to 10 pm.
