Project idea

The aim of the courtyard renovation project, which is planned to be built in the region, is to create a technological space with modern materials and systems in harmony with the climatic, historical and geographical features and conditions of the city of Bratislava, where the users in this area can benefit from their environment in the most efficient way.

Project description

Within the scope of the area to be created, green roofs for sustainability and rain irrigation, ramps for accessibility for every one, level differences such as sinking gardens and inner courtyards for providing movement and creating gathering areas, aluminum composite panel for aesthetical and easy-to-clean facade curtain wall, double glassed facade system for providing energy efficiency by having the natural lighting and ventilation, suspended design for technological and space-saving systems and elements were used.

Technical information

Suspended structures that come to the forefront in the technical sense are seen in the design. These structures constitute the workshop, multipurpose, and cafe areas of the project. This system which is built on the entrance side is supported by the core in which the stairs and the elevator are located, and an entrance from the ground floor to the upper floor is provided.
The green roof system used in the building was created by being influenced by the rainy nature of Bratislava. In this way, the city, which receives rainfall every month of the year, is supported by a rainwater irrigation system and the circulation and recycling of rainwater in gardens, toilet water, and other wet areas are ensured.
