Project idea

The idea of ​​the project is to highlight and clarify the Palestinian architectural identity through the use of architectural vocabulary that simulates heritage and meets the goal of the project, which is to consolidate the popular heritage among Palestinian youth and support it academically by linking the project with the schools surrounding the site

Project description

The Folk Arts Theater project consists of a spacious lobby overlooking an exhibition of folklore works and costumes such as the popular Palestinian dress, in addition to exhibition halls, a conference hall, an indoor theater, an outdoor amphitheater, health units, a waiting area, and a management zone.

Technical information

The prevailing stone materials in the region and the Mashrabiya element were used for thermal conditioning inside the project naturally and to reduce costs, and a modern ventilation and purification system was used inside the theater hall
