Project idea

The regeneration project start from the accurate analysis of the area. The fundamental elements are water, green spaces and strong industrial pre-existences. The project idea starts from the relationship between water and sky.

Project description

The project is articulated in two different architectural typologies: multistorey buildings and a line-building with an ondulated roof. The principle which regulates the disposition of the interior spaces is the one of flexibility and trasformability during time.

Technical information

All the buildings are made of a timber-concrete combined structure; the only different between the towers is the form of the central concrete core. Some interior spaces are fixed like the machinery systems and they are the starting point for the flexible blocks. The metallic roof for the line-building has been chosen so as to be relationed with the industrial scenario.
