The aim of the semester was to get acquainted with the basics of architecture. I worked on three assignments - Here I am at home, Compositions of elements on a given theme, Addition and subtraction.
The "Here I am at Home" assignment focused on my home and its flaws that could be changed. We were also introduced to space and its importance in designing layout changes in our home.
I composed compositions of elements, bricks, on themes such as hierarchy, chaos, homage, humility, superiority and gravity. I reflected on their essence and then created the compositions.
The third assignment was "Addition and Subtraction." I first found examples in architecture and later created models on my chosen themes - a quote by Frank Lloyd Wright and burnout syndrome. I tried to analyze these for the most meaningful final compositions.

Cieľom semestru bolo oboznámiť sa so základmi architektúry. Pracovala som na troch úlohách – Tu som doma, Kompozície z prvkov na danú tému, Adícia a subtrakcia.
Úloha „Tu som doma“ bola zameraná na môj domov a jeho nedostatky, ktoré by sa dali zmeniť. Taktiež sme sa zoznamovali s priestorom a jeho dôležitosťou v rámci návrhu dispozičných zmien v našom dome.
Kompozície z prvkov, tehál, som komponovala na témy ako hierarchia, chaos, pocta, pokora, nadradenosť a tiaž. Zamýšľala som sa nad ich podstatou a následne tvorila kompozície.
Treťou úlohou bola „Adícia a subtrakcia“. Najskôr som si našla príklady v architektúre a neskôr tvorila modely na mnou zvolené témy – citát Franka Lloyda Wrighta a syndróm vyhorenia. Tieto som sa snažila analyzovať pre čo najvýstižnejšie výsledné kompozície.
