Our project focuses on consideration of integration of current development tendencies in robotics into urban space, allowing it to overcome age-old static nature of built environment. The idea is to link up static structures of urban space with dynamic ones which are able to reassamble themselves into variable shapes over time, creating spaces according to actual needs of people.
The system would allow people to assamble their spaces using a smart device at any location where our structures would be situated. Thanks to that people would not be bound to certain place as their spaces would be virtually saved in a database and would be assambled only for the time period the user decides. Whenever the user decides to change location, he just simply signs off the structure, his space is disassambled and ready to be assambled elsewhere, perhaps on completely different continent.
