Project idea

The history and culture of maharashtra is great and beautiful but the environment of today's generation make it complicated for new people to understand the culture of maharashtra so my idea is to mix both the cultural and contemporary according to that i take inspiration from origami ...my concept and philosophy for this project is "origami" . the reason for choosing origami because origami looks complicated patterns but it is easy .. the manipulation of easy shapes make it complicated so this pattern i had applied in my design using basic geometric forms to show them complicated and this is the truth of life . the whole site i divide in 4 parts parking area , public area , semi private area and exhibition space.

The site is 30km away from pune.
site area : 18004.64 SQM
built up area : 3219 SQM
total built up for craft centre : 4184 SQM
covered circulation area : 30% of total built up is 965 SQM
parking provided : 150 car , 100 motorbikes, 4 bus, 50 cycles.
