ACCOMPANYING REPORT
Skalička V is a proposal for a single-storey family house with an attic for a young couple planning to start a large family. This is reflected in the design - initially only the first floor would be habitable, the attic rooms (children's rooms, bathroom with toilet) would be added when the family starts to grow, thus reducing the size of the initial investment.
Due to the slightly sloping terrain, the living room, kitchen is laid half a meter lower than the rest of the 1NP, and so the adjoining terrace lies on the ground without unnecessarily large adjustments to the terrain, this lowering also allows good use of the pantry located under the staircase.
The architectural concept is based on a classic village house, i.e. a simple block shape with a gable roof with a 45° pitch, the facades are painted white, the windows, doors, roof or eaves are matched in dark grey. The terrace along the south façade is made of oak wood.
The elevated living room and kitchen are south-facing and, with the help of large sliding windows, can be combined with the terrace in good weather to create a uniform space, these windows also provide a wide view of the living area of the garden, in the southern part of which there is a fireplace with seating. At the same time, through these windows and another large window set into the west façade, the house communicates with the adjacent street.
The northern part of the garden is mainly utilitarian, used for growing vegetables and fruit. The plot is not separated from the surroundings by a fence, which visually enlarges the plot, thus continuing an old tradition and also sending a signal of trust. The boundary of the plot is marked only by stones embedded in the dirt that line the edge of the plot.
The perimeter load-bearing cladding would be built of 440mm thick thermal insulation bricks, the internal load-bearing walls of 250mm thick bricks, the partitions of 440mm thick bricks. 115mm, the ceiling structure would be designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling, the 900mm high superstructure would guarantee a spacious attic, the roof structure would be designed as a simple rafter structure due to the small span, the rafters would be anchored to the posts and these would be fixed to the reinforced concrete wreath.
The dimensions of the house itself are 14880mm by 7630mm, the highest point of the house is at 7750mm (from datum 0.000=316.94m above sea level), the built-up area of the house itself is 113.54m2.

PRŮVODNÍ ZPRÁVA
Skalička V je návrh rodinného jednopatrového domu s podkrovím pro mladý pár, plánující založení veliké rodiny. To reflektuje i návrh – zpočátku by bylo obytné pouze první patro, podkrovní místnosti (dětské pokoje, koupelna s wc) by se dostavěly, až by se rodina začala rozrůstat, tím by se i snížila velikost počáteční investice.
Vzhledem k lehce svažitému terénu je obývací pokoj, kuchyně položena o půl metru níže než zbytek 1NP, a tak na ně navazující terasa leží na terénu bez zbytečně velkých úprav terénu, toto snížení také umožnuje dobře využívat komoru umístěnou pod schodištěm.
Architektonický koncept vychází z klasického vesnického domu, tedy z jednoduchého tvaru kvádru se sedlovou střechou s 45° sklonem, fasády jsou opatřený bílým nátěrem, okna, dveře, střecha či okap jsou sladěny do tmavě šedé barvy. Terasa podél jižní fasády je z dubového dřeva.
Převýšený obývací pokoj a kuchyň jsou orientovány na jih a pomocí posuvných velkoformátových oken se mohou za vhodného počasí spojit s terasou a vytvořit tak jednolitý prostor, tyto okna také poskytují široký výhled do pobytové části zahrady, v jejíž jižní části se nachází ohniště s posezením. Zároveň pomocí těchto oken a dalšího velkoformátového okna zasazeného do západní fasády dům komunikuje přilehlou ulicí.
Severní část zahrady je převážně užitná, využívána pro pěstování zeleniny a ovoce. Pozemek není od okolí oddělen plotem, čím se opticky pozemek zvětšuje, navazuje tak na starou tradici a také tím vysílá signál důvěry. Hranici pozemku vyznačují pouze do hlíny zapuštěné kameny, které lemují okraj pozemku.
Obvodový nosný plášť by byl postaven tepelněizolačních cihel tl. 440mm, vnitřní nosné stěny pak z cihel tl. 250mm, příčky z cihel tl. 115mm, stropní konstrukce by byla řešena jako monolitický železobetonový strop, nadezdívka výšky 900mm by zaručovala prostorné podkroví, střešní konstrukce by byla díky malému rozpětí řešena jako prostá krokevní, krokve by byly zakotveny k pozednicím a ty by byly připevněny do železobetonového věnce.
Rozměry samotného domu jsou 14880mm na 7630mm, nejvyšší bod domu je ve výšce 7750mm (od vztažné bodu 0.000=316,94m n.m.), zastavěná plocha samotného domu je 113,54m2.
