Project idea

A 100-bed hospital is planned and designed in a 1.6-acre site in an urban setup. The hospital is designed to be a multi-specialty facility with 3 departments – Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics.
Apart from adhering to hospital designing principles, the design also considers the site context, form space relationships, and activity analysis. The design amalgamates the new and radical concepts involved in modern-day healthcare and therapeutic built environments with functionality, circulation requirements, technical detailing, structural, and service integration that is critical to Architecture aimed at Hospital Design.

Project description

Designed to minimize the effort of medical personnel and the possibility of contamination while maximizing the efficiency of the whole system. Travel time for personnel within the hospital and the transportation of patients between units is facilitated and minimized.
