Project idea

The vision is to create a new cultural centre that can gives a benefit into the urban community. And create such an inclusive place for people to gather and express themselves.

Project description

Main idea is to create a sense of community in this complex, inspired by Burkina faso village structure. This clustered planning gives this complex a vibrant and creative atmosphere. Gives a privacy but also gives such sense of opennes in this complex. Realising the ego of an artist. I intended this design to have a many open spaces so the artist can freely fill the voids with their art.

Technical information

To overcome the extreme heat in Burkina Faso.I designed the shading that connected this whole area.
This design use a local material construction such as adobe brick and combined it with modern material such as space frame steel. So the building is energy efficient
