Prishtina is the capital city of Kosovo and in some parts of the city, there are very few spaces for the community. The idea was to create a space that is used by the comunity and the students from the school near the location of the building, as a learning center.
This space is created by using the slope of the terrain in its advantage generating a cascade building, and these stairs are used for circulation and also there are created sitting steps as learning and interaction space, this element is a space definer for inside and outside because it cuts the space and goes outside to be used as space in between.
The free floor plan is used to create overlapping functions and to give the possibility for rearranging spaces for different uses that the community might have.
The green roof of the building is the massive element that covers the building and serves as a shadow creator in order to minimize the sun radiation inside and create outdoor spaces (the space in between).
Building materials are concrete, wood, and glass.
