Have you ever think of Park in the sky? Yes, a large public garden or area of land used for recreation. What if we bring it on a high-rise? People are getting very busy day by day. There is less time to gossip, enjoying together. Recreational space is getting narrower continuously and we are losing connectivity with each other. We spend more time on the computer, mobile. My thinking was to bring the people together, increase their social connectivity, make them closer to nature, even they are on work. They can enjoy their time while working, enjoy the nature while on shopping inside a building, they can feel the nature, they will feel encouraged to walk, they will use stair instead of using Lift, they will love to see the surrounding instead of typing on mobile. People who walk, bike, or take some form of mass transit to work weigh less, live longer. They also have lower rates of depression, more free time, and a more robust social life. I tried to create a nice relation between urban people of the main road and natural water resources by designing visual and physical connectivity, making awareness to keep natural resources clean. Also tried to create a sustainable urban hub by practising healthy physical, mental, social, environmental & economic practice through this design.
This is a mixed-use building has office and Shopping mall, the tower portion of the building is Office. A particular time of our day we spend in the office, so I wanted to make the office environment encourage by adding green areas. The East facade and west façade are more Solid than the other two sides, which not only gives functional benefit but also a Sculptural look to the building. The entry side is created with a triple-height shaded drop of to welcome people.
The project site is Hypothetical and 62291 square feet. Located at Dhaka, Bangladesh. The highrise is consist of 58 floors.
