Project idea

The site of project was situated in Ghalat village where has cool weather and
beautiful nature. Therefore I decided to use them in my design in a good way. So I keep some elements such as nature in the center of the project and trees that shaped the structure of design. Site was close to Shiraz and accessible from main road.

Project description

Natural landscapes are landscapes beyond cultural influence. "A natural landscape is one that is unaffected by human activity". A natural landscape is intact when all living and nonliving elements are free to move and change The nonliving elements distinguish a natural landscape from a wilderness. A wilderness includes areas within which natural processes operate without human interference, but a wilderness must contain life. As implied, a natural landscape may contain either the living or nonliving or both.
The natural environment is contrasted with the built environment, which comprises the areas and components that are strongly influenced by humans. A geographical area is regarded as a natural environment (with an indefinite article), if the human impact on it is kept under a certain limited level.

Technical information

According to the architect, “One has to actually stroll through the house to capture its complexities and its connection to the exterior with the use of a natural wood ceiling floating on curving laminated wood beams which pass through a generous glass wall which wraps around the main living room.”
Architect Robert Harvey Oshatz
