Project idea

Distribution of my own work and cognition of design ability.
Have you not really felt it in this way? Because reduction for the congestion is simple in the planned urban area, the things demanding it of location requirements and safety of the infrastructure, a location cannot grasp a number in person each. Then may it be said that the thought is the same when congestion for the reduction is the district where becoming it is cited in as a problem? The answer is simple. Totally different. There is the original scenery that a Japanese has ever lived in the district and rouses the community by the culture context and forms a meaning to live. As Bernard Rudofsky proposed it once, the building which is vernacular is in an element of the modern architecture, and, as for it, a building and a model of the form to say may be near. These words were able to always hide behind in the root of my design plan. It is the space where a sense to pursue the memory of the building which is sense of the body to be able to take in by unconscious pressure naturally most pleasantly, Anonymous who forgot it was born by accumulation of the memory that people imagined, and whether it is not comfortable space impressing you I think to a living person. There is not always such an environment in the local city. There are the present conditions that the securing of natural energy and group management by the depopulation, a local management plan including the abolition of the main business do not make ends meet. I thought that it was that the building which was vernacular born with the rebuilding of a historic inheritance spoiled with the infrastructure maintenance of the modern times when I suggested it never breathed as analogy of the development in the village not terminus ad quem. I plan it at a span having a long it not the device of the point at one time and expand it and let you enlarge. This thought will lead to one becoming the depopulation declining district activated therapy.

Project description

Yanase is in Kochi prefecture of Japan.
Yanase district which I picked up as the planning area began with the history that Heike has escaped about 800 years ago, and in 1960, it prospered mainly in forestry, and the forest railroad that connects the end point Senbon mountain to the coastal area for transportation is the basis It was a district where a cultural landscape was born. However, due to the abolition of railroads due to the decline of forestry and motorization etc. and construction of dams due to expansion of electricity demand due to modernization, construction of a dam lake and forced migration to a hill were forced. Currently it is the only forest railway registered as a cultural heritage, but there are almost no remnants left, and the population decrease due to depopulation due to the aging is remarkable, as the population does not increase further year by year. As a result, it is expected that the forest environment of the national forest will deteriorate due to the decline of forestry practitioners who thinning. It leads to the revival of new local cultural values in Yanase district where the history, the carved past and culture of the village sank in the dam lake, mainly as a subculture mainly transferred from forestry to fruit that called Yuzu industry.

Technical information

For the construction of slopes, we use grit covered with wood to steel frame in order to stabilize.
Equipment lines are also housed inside the grid. It facilitates safety and exchange.
They use timber of thinning.
Structures of grits constituted by various scales each have meaning and space. The structure of iron and wood is both special and artificial, it is also natural.

The master plan led a requirement along the contents of the plan of the district.
