Project idea

This is a project to show Myanmar traditional culture and it will be an image of Mandalay City which is the second-largest city and the last royal capital of Myanmar.
As a proposed site is situated in front of the Mandalay Palace, having a nice view of bastion and moat of Mandalay palace and also Mandalay Hill. So I wanna design that project not only Myanmar traditional style but also the image of Mandalay palace.
I also want to trend this building shape to modern, pure, stable, dominant. I get an idea to take the concept of Myanmar Tradition bastion shape, but we need to follow the ratio of bastion and how many roof steps at there. So I've needed to emphasize of the roof portion of that building by the ratio of bastion.

Project description

Myanmar Art & Craft Museum project is an academic project. I've used the solar resistant glasses to get natural lighting from the gaps of roof levels. At the center of this site, I've designed the monument building look like a Tower included Myanmar Drum. And also arch of Bagan style was used in outdoor gallery space.
