Project idea

Project Zero aims to create a Housing Complex which fits into the culture and climate of a tropical climate. It precedents its category by accomplishing a Net Zero, Energy Consumption. Proving to be a Green, Sensible & User Centric Design.

Project description

Project Zero, is aimed to be not bound by its Site, it can be theoretically placed in any of the Sub-Tropical Climates, as it takes advantage of all the Climatic Issues to the maximum. Its mainly, Community driven, & follows trend of High Community Interaction seen in Asian countries. Hence, Public Spaces are given a priority, and interior of Housing units are created to provide a Porous atmosphere while still keeping the Privacy Intact.

Technical information

Being a Mid-Rise Housing structure, with a relatively low footprint, area occupied is very less. Form itself promotes Wind Flow immensely while the orientation to East West Direction Prevents the Harsh South Sun, while still retaining immense amounts of natural light. Project zero involves Current technologies like, Blue Jean Insulation, Concrete Block Walls, Recycled Concrete along with Bio-Mimicry to reduce humidity. It boasts a 100% built possibility with current and future technologies.
