The idea for the project is based on the shape of a ceramic bowl. The ceramic is an ancient material, perhaps, the first man made material. The project is located in a historical place, the Paramonovsky warehouses, this historical place is located in the center of Rostov on Don. The paramonovsky warehouses are historically recognize by the development and creation of the ceramic in Rostov. This concept is the interaction of two historical centers.
In Paramonovsky are located below observation deck and this pavilion is an exhibition place of the history of pottery in Rostov on Don. The main concept is the transition of an important historical place to a modern construction, Thanks to the image of a ceramic bowl. The fragments is the vase, is a valuable historical treasure founded in Paramonovsky, transformed into a solid image of a ceramic bowl that transforms at the base of the neck into an open space.
The style of this project is an ecological design. Wooden structures making a open space and wooden details that transforms the image of a bowl into a linear architecture. This exhibition pavilion of the history of ceramic in Rostov cannot be place in another place otherwise it will lose of the meaning to be. The pavilion perfectly fits the relief that located in, as well goes to levels deep into the relief.
