Project description

The main intention of the project is possibly biggest respect of the place ,fit to existing envirnoment and lack of intervetion in historical buildings. New pavilons dissapearing in a surrounded area and using extant nature as a important and inviolable part of the castle. Many analyzes of exsisting complex, buildings and surrounding area gave reflections to limit the amount of buildings only to those necessary to operate the castle and not to compete with existing structures.

All considerations were focus on create simple shape of new pavilons with spectacular space for wedding guests. Wedding pavilons are removable and modular but each one perfectly fits to the place where it is located because of using directions and shapes from the surroundings. Lot of transparent elements are making open dialouge with outstanding views and landscapes, and giving guests an opportunity to admiring incredible italian panorama.

Technical information

All the buildings are made by modularity system of the steel pillars (15x15cm), connected with the ground by steel screws and additionally sustainable foundation is not necessary. Whole construction is temporary and easily removable. Cladding the pavilons is using the system of layer elevation panel with heating , hydrofobization and acustic proctect. Electrical installations and wifi are hidden in ducts space between elevation panels. Numerous glazed surfaces provide natural and subtle illumination of the interior, creating an unpredictable climate. Glazing is made of photovoltaic glass, which also provides energy efficiency and environmental performance. A band of ribbons surrounding each building and connecting separate spaces into a single unit is primarily a lighting system. The inner part of the steel ribbon contains an LED strip that further highlights the linearity of the design and its subtle, simple form. As nature plays an important role in the project, buildings are tailored to its design. In the weeding pavilion the roof has the special design cutouts on the existing trees. In case of unfavorable weather conditions it is possible to cover the holes with water-absorbing and transparent material. In the second part of the wedding pavilion was designed a system of sliding panels to increase the space to rest. The frames are telescopically fixed to the structure, making it possible to arbitrarily shape the size of the space. The main feature of the project is respect for nature, so the roof of the wedding suit appear photovoltaic panels. Construction of pavilions has no negative impact on the environment and surroundings. Emerging trees create unity with new design. The pavilions floor is made of system boards laid directly on the structure, without interfering with the substrate. All of elementrs are available and economical but most of all, they are typed in the context of the place.
