this project has been designed as a three-story building with six apartments, however, intended to seem uniform and look as a villa to create a sense of community and intimacy among the residents.
To increase the passage of the sunlight into the flats and also in order to separate the private section from the public one (to make it compatible with Iranian culture and religion), the northern space of the plan was rotated in relation to the buildings direction.
The mixture of the roof garden and steep roofs is due to the following reasons:
-to emphasis on the steepness al the roof
-to create a roof garden on the southern side with a view of the opposite gardens
This building has been designed for a 925 square meter (25*37m) land in Mehrshahr, an old neighborhood in Karaj with a lot of old beautiful villas. It occupied an area about 20*19.20m of the land, in 4 stories. First floor includes parking lots, stores and lobby. Each of the 3 remaining floors contains 2 apartments with about 195 square meters area.
