In a squared shape area in the New Urban Center of Montevago (between via Pianotta and via Fratelli Scirè) a religious complex for the local Evangelical community will stand up
The design composition is divided by three volumes - the church, the classrooms and the pastoral house, connected to each other by a courtyard-garden placed in the basement thought as a space that can be useful for the neighborhood and for the believers. The buildings follow the perimeter of the area except the volume of the church, turned to a hypothetical square, trying to establish a dialogue with it and a micro-centrality in the neighborhood - this arrangement forms a fence, opened on the front side; wide staircase facilitates the access to the church square and to the three volumes placed on a mezzanine level.
The outer skin of the church volume consists of squared stone slabs, joined by "dowels of light" following a definite form and rhythm, and they are staggered juxtaposed and the different thickness constantly changes the section of the wall. The same external pattern continues inside the building through the semi-gloss white panels that, besides giving space and light, will get the hall acoustically soundproof. The light inside the church is made up of rays of light.
