The essence of the project is the way in which the unbuilt generates the built.
The front offered to the street tries to be in agreement with the neighborhoods, highlighting them through neutrality and opacity. The inflection points of the site have generated in the facade all kinds of gaps, depressions or consoles, which provide space, being an invitation to visit the museum.By conforming the yards they become a vital part of the project. They are seen from the street by gangs, which pierce a continuous front to the street. The yards come to shape the building.
The monolithic appearance of the museum is given by the use of concrete as the main structure. The reddish concrete is a reference to the character of the area, where most of the old buildings had a facade in similar colors. The hypostases of concrete are the following: load-bearing walls, columns, piles, diaphragms.
