Project idea

The built environment which is now affected more and more by rapid and dramatic change, ecological consideration and social and cultural norms, I tried to achieve a structure that has impact as a form, is flexible and light weight in construction.

Project description

In the world where climate, politics and economy are becoming extremely transient in nature, the concept of permanent dwelling is now anomalous. In this project i have tried to achieve a climate sensitive structure that fulfills its function by mimicking the behavior and proportions of hump form of Marekkha Camel of Cholistan.

Technical information

The novel living conditions in the structure allows a sense of quality and connection of the local inhabitants as well as the tourists. The structure of my design is made of bamboos that can be transported to the immediate site and can be easily assembled and dissembled by the locals and tourists in less than two weeks. I tried to achieve a structure that follows and flows and is flexible and can satisfy the spiritual and social needs of the users and is a self sustaining ecosystem that mimics life.
