Project idea

In the contemporary architecture of Morocco, the number of buildings that try to bring Moroccan traditions with the world's modern architects is very low.
In this project, I tried to design a building that is in line with the architecture of the day, taking into account the culture and traditions of Moroccan architecture. I did this design in a country where the number of such buildings is very small.

Project description

I first studied the traditional architecture of Morocco, which included materials, type of form, spatial relationships, types of plants used, and more. Then my studies on the culture of the Moroccan people began, and finally I tried to combine all this information with modern architecture to design a building that would meet the needs of the people both internally and as a new member of the city.

Technical information

Initially , I considered the traditional Moroccan form , including huge masses and thick walls . Then , with the weather , I decided to shoot into the Shadow by setting up a central court and turning the monument . Then , I created a lower - level central court that cooled in the summer , increasing heat as well as winter , increasing heat and being used as a living space . It is also cooled by wind to the pool , the wind cooled and moves towards this space . The pool serves as a cooling member .
