The project area is the Çınar Square in the city center of Denizli. The project idea is based on increasing the weak interaction of the square with people and creating a stopping point for people.
The first stage of the project is addressed by the solution of the pedestrianization problem. For this, vehicle roads were pulled under the ground and the pedestrian was prevented from encountering vehicles. Pedestrian axes have been reconsidered to see the square and reach the square. Instead of the collapsed buildings for pedestrian axes, buildings surrounding the square and whose functions are foreseen to feed the square are designed. These buildings consist of sociocultural spaces and institutional spaces.
The front of the mosque in the square creates a large space (religious reasons)
A building with a gallery and exhibition areas is proposed at the intersection of the axles reaching the square. In order to increase the human interaction of institutional structures, inner gardens have been created and these gardens extend to the outer space. It also constitutes sociocultural areas and commercial spaces in other buildings surrounding the square.
In order to give a new texture to the ground floor, a floor trail has been added. These traces narrow and expand, forming green areas
this project is an idea project so the necessary technical details have not been processed
