TRIBHUVAN : Urban Heritage Redevelopment of Old Bhubaneshwar

Project idea

Ekamra Kshetra, Old Bhubaneshwar, the capital of Odisha, despite of being one of the most significant heritage core of India is gradually loosing its cultural identity gradually due to the rapid modernization of the new capital. The main motto of the project is to revitalize the cultural identity and its years old heritage through urban design and redesigning spaces.

Project description

Ekamra Kshetra, Old Bhubaneshwar, the capital of Odisha, despite of being one of the most significant heritage core of India is gradually loosing its cultural identity gradually due to the rapid modernization of the new capital. The main motto of the project is to revitalize the cultural identity and its years old heritage through urban design and redesigning spaces. This project includes the live proposal of Lingarag Temple interpretation center, Information and Facilitation center and a grand plaza.
