Simply modern building of municipal office in Semin in the Czech Republic. The main intention was a connection between two buildings (municipal office and community centre) and creating more gathering spaces around the complex.
Whole area is situated between local pub and stream in the middle of the village. There is a main tract which goes through the both buildings and there are two gable walls which are cut by the same abstract cutting plane. The gable walls and the tract are made of glass materials because the main intention was the contrast between glass and timber facade. This design was awarded by university commitee in Czech Technical University.
Used materials: facade timber decks, thermal insulation glass, timber load-bearing construction
Visualizations are made by Lumion and postproduction by photoshop.
