The idea behind the design of this building was based on the historical motives of Norwegian dwellings on stilts. The characteristic features of these dwellings are: pitched roofs, building level rise due to piles, bypass galleries.

The territory of the observation deck is surrounded on all sides by a mountain range, which creates the effect of "oasis". A comfortable asphalt road from the city of Mo-i-Rana leads to it. At the entrance to the projected area there is a guarded parking lot for 10 cars. Designed sidewalks made of wooden flooring connect the park with an observation deck and park area with rare tree species. Street lighting is provided by designer lampposts, the appearance of which laconic fits into the environment. On the territory there are comfortable heated toilets, author's parametric benches, representing the ocean waves, and futuristic urns resembling an observation deck. All sidewalks are optimized for people with limited mobility in accordance with the standards. Access to the water area is through the design of the pier zone.
The observation deck has a prismatic shape, divided into 3 levels, interconnected by external stairs. The first level is located below the design level and is an open viewing area with a glass barrier. The second level, located at the ground level, is connected with the first external staircase and represents exactly the same open viewing area. An external staircase from the ground level leads to the third level, which is a smart gazebo.
The main volume of the observation deck is based on the mountain massif, and the observation zones with a covered smart gazebo - on two inclined reinforced concrete columns with a cross section of 600 by 300 mm. The project includes breakwaters that protect the foundation from mechanical damage and send us to the origins of Norwegian construction on piles. On the east side there is a wall with panoramic windows protecting from the wind. Walls, ceilings are made of wood, and the terrace fencing is made of shockproof glass.
The observation deck is located in a mountainous area, surrounded on all sides by mountains and forests. There are a large number of green spaces on the territory of the square, the building materials from which the observation deck is made fully support the theme of ecology, piles and slabs are made of reinforced concrete, the floor and steps are made of wood (decking). The plates are also covered with a decorative wooden board. The stairs are all metal with safety glass railing. The energy efficiency of the project is provided by solar energy. Each lamppost is equipped with a solar module, which allows them to be almost autonomous. Also, the toilets have a heating system (chiller-fan coil).
