Global warming causing rising water levels and increasing pollution of the air and ocean as a result of technological developments have a direct impact on our quality of life. It is predicted that by 2050 only islands from the highest mountain ranges will remain worldwide. The probable air pollution will deprive humanity of normal functioning. The CIVILIZATION'S DNA project is set in this reality. The idea behind the project was the structure and function of the human genetic code record - the only information that remains and can survive for thousands of years.
In the face of the existing threats, the task of the designed building is to ensure the survival of the existing civilization. The double helix has also become an inspiration for the form - the double chain acts as communication in the building, the individual balls, and the selected functions. This includes activities in four main areas: culture, the natural world, science and housing. An important element of the project is also the established cooperation between the contemporary inhabitants of our planet and its future citizens. The assumption is to participate in "downloading" the bottom code of the civilization and to create the whole design assumption to ensure a similar or even better future for our descendants. This is based on a man's willingness to leave a trace as well as his natural care for things belonging to him - his offspring.
The whole is stiffened by transverse corridors referring to hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic actions. The structure is also a kind of refuge - not only does it provide shelter during a flood, but also provides better environmental conditions thanks to balls filled with fresh and clean air. At the same time, their ability to change their position in relation to each other allows them to freely adjust to the current water level, currents and winds.
