Project idea

The project is to be built in the city of Bijar in the province of Kurdistan
Bijar is a mountainous city surrounded by three mountains
The mountains are often covered with snow
Indigenous people build and live in the mountains
My main idea for the design of this project was to create a volume of three mountains combined to make a shell like snow on the mountains and I designed it in a Folding style.

Project description

I start in the design field first and translate these into architectural language by examining environmental and climatic conditions by applying engineering solutions. The site was located in the province of Kurdistan in Bijar, Bijar is Iran's second highest city, and the people who created the villages and the city in the heart of the mountain are generally artists and happy. Bijar is surrounded by three mountains and has a strategic location and the city is born and raised in the heart of these three mountains, so it has a triangular pattern like the mountains. The city has a steep slope from north to south. The tallest point of the city is the Triangle site, which can be said to be a fraction of the Bijar city pattern. There is an 11-meter hill site known as the Bijar Roof. The sites on the site are all sharpened and people call them diamonds. The subject is the Museum of Art, or even a larger art, to show in the heart of the mountain my main idea of presenting the art of the people of Kurdistan was to show it. I chose the title of the original template and explored that hill on the site, trimming it into multiple triangles, keeping people moving on the paths to the top of the hill, and placing parking and amphitheater in the heart of the hill. I shaped the overall volume of the building by combining the three mountains around the city, creating some space for the best views to the city, as well as creating a gap in the middle to allow light to flow into the spaces, and a bridge between the classroom and the gallery. I also designed the staircase above the space library to sit and study and see the sights so that the visitors could have a better connection with the building and the environment. It looks like it's sitting on three mountains of snow and bleaching it or wrapping it in a snow cube.

Technical information

Its volume and 3D modeling were done in 3Ds Max software and all of its 2D plans and sections were drawn in AutoCAD software because the maps had to be executable. All the columns were selected with the help of a structural engineer.
The overall design of this project is a space frame with GFRC concrete, which is the modern system of the world
