Project idea

The project idea is to create a community centre to serve the surrounding society. This centre serves the residents of the area from children to senior citizens providing indoor and outdoor activities. The building consists of a huge reading area on two floors, a soundproof studio, a computer lab, lecture halls , multimedia hall, a gaming area and an exhibition hall to allow residents to show their works.

Project description

The scope of the project is to merge the modern world with our community which is highlighted in the different shaped masses joined in one building showing unity. Also it offers a healthy environment by providing a full day lighting indoors.

Technical information

This project is designed to suit a real site in Alexandria, Egypt near our school. The centre is designed to be visited by up to 300 people a day. It is surrounded by two inbuilt lands providing the building the lighting it needs.
