Project idea

Idea was so simple. I wanted to gather people in different ages. And the form of facade I maked some geometric figures in it.

Project description

The center have theatre, hobbie rooms, orchestra area, exhibition area and etc. Documentation was being solved in the area of the study. The project of the exhibition area was part of the project of the building. The exhibition area is located in underground on a free place in front of the building B. Center is intended for public. Public can enter into center traugh the exhibition area and then come out by sightseeing elevator up. center also serves for members of college. They can enter there from the last one floor of building B. On the first look the building militates self.consident and is covered by expanded metal which opens in area of windows because of better visibility.
Capacity of the center is about one hundred people (in a case of a necessity thanks to the open area is possible to increase the capacity. There is also a beautiful place with a fantastic view of monuments of Prague like Prague castle, Petřín watchtower and many others..
The center is divided to two open areas and terrace outside with moveable wall which can he opened in hot weather.
Other important part is for example bar, base for employees, a place to prepare, toilets ..
To the second floor you can get by lift or spiral stair. There is lounge which is possible to rent for private purposes. From lounge you can go to a roof of the University or visit observatory which is on the roof next to the center.

Technical information

Master plan devided into 2 groupes: active and passive zone. Active zone includes basketball, tennis, volleyball court and gymnastic area. Passive zone includes reading zone, playground for kids and restuarant.
The Design proposal is consisting of the conceptual drawings which describe and elaborate the shape and the structure of the architectural elements along with the environmental responding methods.
The overall design is consisting of two designed spaces in the Lagoon location.

It will be a mesmerizing experience to a visitor to take a good view of the wetland environment.
Center will be designed in two levels with unique shaped architecture consisting above mentioned spaces.
