Project idea

What can you imagine with 3 wasted shipping containers is the crux of this time problem. I decided to mould this containers in a such way that they must represent themselves in accordance of form and function with respect to the context. I decided to make a mini hospital out of it because its basic need which is not available in rural areas of India, so its better to design something which is portable and cost effective.
So using the sign of hospitals ' + ' , i designed the front elevation and top view in that shape and the color is red from outside as the sign has the same.

Project description

This project is carried out in second year academic course of five years. We have given 3 standard size shipping containers to make something unconventional.

Technical information

The mini hospital consist of three parts-
1. Clinic
2. OPD
3. Beds
The joinery of the containers is by using hinged connection so we can fold them and transport easily anywhere. The container is proper insulated from outside using blanket insulation method to adjust with the respective climate. The container also harvest water and can be self sufficient by using solar panels.
