Project idea

A social interaction defines the concept of community center. The intent of the project is as follows:
To create an environment that fosters community, engagement and hence strengthens community ties.
To create spaces and experiences that inspire action and creativity and thus lead to self-growth at an individual level.
To act as social hub and do interaction with the nature and for the sake of leisure apart from the hustle bustle life. Mainly in modern era the society goes towards the technology apart from this I design a space in which all gathering activities that promote the concept of interaction in green space.

Project description

The site for intervention is in DHA RAHBAR BLOCK C near RAIWIND ROAD LAHORE .The multi-functionality of the spaces themselves are important, in which I designed in a way to facilitate outdoor activities and indoor spaces in a form of multi-functioning facilities. A gymnasium has also been introduced on the far right for indoor sports events, the adjacent ground catering for outdoor sport events. The whole intervention can be used by the community as they like in the form of weddings so I also designs the banquet hall. The only space with a fixed function is the cafeteria and its adjacent kitchen. The ground floor having restaurant, banquet hall, coffee shop, saloon, gym, squash court, swimming pool, tennis court. Parking for cars are also available near the entrance.

Technical information

The whole edifice is in pure concrete, with most of the activities in the ground floor and having apartments on first floor. I also design some sitting area for colonizes for a social interaction. This project includes master site plan, all floor plans, sections, elevations, and 3Ds visualization. Use of louvers in front façade.
